Jackie Parker Pooch Patrol is a group of users of the off-leash area at Jackie Parker Recreation Area. The group was originally formed in reaction to the exclusion of the ravine trail in summer 2009.
The group is dedicated to advocating for and on behalf of the users of the off-leash area.
Some members of our group are also serving on the City of Edmonton's Advisory Committee. This group includes other stakeholders, such as MCARFA, and representatives from other user groups. Advisory Committee meetings will begin in January 2010.
